Our number one priority is our students

The Geraldine Lamb Dance School was established in Plymouth in 1918 and remains in the same family today. Our students are our number one priority. We ensure we do everything we can to help them achieve the best of their ability.

Our aim is to encourage a natural love of music and movement, build our students’ confidence, and of course have a huge amount of fun.

Former students have performed professionally all over the world including the West End and Broadway, both on stage, in film, and on television. Equally, our students are successful in all walks of life and they look back on their days at GLDS with affection, as a place where wonderful memories are made.

We look forward to welcoming you to the GLDS family.

Lovely dance school with a family feel.

A legacy that lives on

Four generations on, the school continues to be shaped by the family that founded it. Ben Cook, the great-grandson of Geraldine Lamb and a former GLDS pupil, is one of many alumni who have taken the skills, discipline and artistry nurtured here on to professional careers.
