What ages do you teach?

We welcome dancers from 18 months old right through to adults, including our Silver Swans classes for the over-55s. There really is a class for every age and stage.

Do I need any experience to start?

Not at all. Most of our students begin as complete beginners. Our teachers create a warm, supportive environment where everyone can progress at their own pace.

Question 3

What should my child wear to their first class?

For a first taster, comfortable clothing they can move in and bare feet or socks are perfectly fine. Once enrolled we'll advise on the correct uniform and shoes for each class.

Are your teachers qualified?

Yes. All of our teachers hold professional dance teaching qualifications, current DBS certificates and full insurance, and complete at least 20 hours of Continuing Professional Development every year.

Do you offer examinations?

We do. Students can work towards internationally recognised graded examinations with the RAD, IDTA and other awarding bodies, as well as taking part in regular performances.

How much do classes cost?

Most children's classes are £35 per half-term block of lessons. Adult classes are from £8 per class, and Parent & Toddler Ballet is £7 per class. Live pricing is always shown on the booking portal.

What happens at a taster class?

Come along in comfortable clothes you can move in. We'll welcome you, place you in the right group, and your teacher will look after you. There's no pressure to enrol on the day: try a class, see how it feels, then decide.

Where are your classes?

We teach in Saltash and Plymouth. Our Saltash home is Saltash Baptist Church on Culver Road. In Plymouth we dance at Holy Family Church Hall in Beacon Park, Lipson Co-operative Academy, and Plymouth College in Mutley.
